Roll out more funds to repair St Mary roads
THE EDITOR, Sir:
This is an open letter to Norman Dunn:
There are craters on the main road between Chovey (Georgia) and Rosemount leading from Kingston and Annotto Bay. I am sure you have traversed to and from Chovey daily to get to South East St Mary.
The craters were created because the drains are completely blocked. The drains run through sections with tall coconut trees.
Unfortunately, the millions of dollars spent during the election campaign wasn't spent to clean these drains.
I hereby appeal to you, as member of parliament, to seek to have this roadway, among others, immediately repaired.
I am aware you have only been elected a few days, but I am also aware that the Government you represent actually spent millions of dollars during the election period.
